Hi there...my name is Angel.

I'm no ordinary ass...at least that's what I've often been told.

I am like many of you . I'm from away...and yes my roots are in the Maritimes...born in the Perth-Andover area of north western New Brunswick.

Never ask a lady her age....let's just say that I'm old enough!
A few years ago my current Guardians brought me here to this wonderful Annapolis Valley organic Farm. I traveled here with a fellow named jack (not the politician Jack)...the extra pair of legs gave him away. Jack went to Oaklawn Farm Zoo in exchange for a Yak (yes really). A small contingent of Navajo Churro Sheep came along as well...though they've moved on now.

You can see from my picture above that I'm a very beautiful a$$et...errr donkey. Children love to sit on my back and pose for pictures...see my charming smile...

I have a weakness for organic grain and the sweet grass and nutritious hay here at Stepping Stone Heritage Farm. A hand full of grain and I'll follow you most anywhere...really!

My bray is often my greeting...folks in the nearby village often hear me but don't realize that I live the 'good life'....lots of water and only the finest to eat and my well trained guardians who answer to my every need.

It's come to my attention that 'they' are advertising me on the internet and I've gained a great deal of attention. A recent edition of the 'Canadian Donkey and Mule Journal' had an article about me. In fact, lots of folks want me...I do feel special!

Please don't think it immodest of me but with all the attention it seems to me that I should have a Fan Club....surely you agree. I may not be Elvis or Trigger or Bon Jovi or even Barney or Barbie but I do have some pretty special feelings. Yes, the die is cast. I've convinced my Guardian to set up this site and invite green and not so green thinkers to help inflate my ego and perhaps become my new provider and newest, biggest Fan. You won't regret it...Really!

I am For Sale at a rather ambitious price or so I'm told...hardly seems enough (to Me)...but I do come with the most unique Farm and Opportunity that any 'green minded' Guardian might enjoy.

If you want to share my ideas...it's just a matter of asking. Simply click on this link to learn more.

For the Birds

For the Birds
Everyday we see them and hear them at Stepping Stone. Often it's pheasants, other times it's Canada Blue Jays, and Mourning Doves. With the Meadows and woodland it can be most any and often the unlikely. Haven't seen the majestic Blue Heron lately but perhaps as Summer progresses... and yes the Heron has made an appearance!
